Can I refund my ticket?

All ticket sales are final and no refunds are issued. We are, however, happy to reschedule your date and time within the season dates.

I want to change the time/date that I bought my ticket for, how do I do that?

There are two ways to reschedule your ticket(s):

â—Ź Contact SEE Tickets via email, or phone at flowerfields@seetickets.zendesk.com or by calling 1-855-235-2867. Email will provide you with faster service.

I can't find my ticket

Try searching your email for SEE Tickets. You should also check your spam or junk folder for the email. If you still cannot locate your tickets, please contact See Tickets at flowerfields@seetickets.zendesk.com, by calling 1-855-235-2867, or checking with the customer service window at the Flower Fields when you arrive.

Can I purchase tickets for a group over 25 people?

You can purchase up to 25 tickets at a time through our online tickets service SeeTickets. For adults groups larger than 25, contact Joni Miringoff at 760-930-9123 x118 or joni@carltas.com

What happens if tickets are sold out?

Tickets do sell out fast during the peak bloom. If the ticketing calendar does not show tickets for sale, that day is sold out. Please check out other dates with tickets available.

What if I am running late, will I still be able to get in?

Of course, they will be happy to accept your tickets when you arrive. The Flower Fields close at 6:00pm, and our entrance gate closes at 5:30pm.

Will I be allowed to leave The Flower Fields and come back in on the same day?

Once you have left The Flower Fields, in and out privileges are not available.

What happens if it rains?

We are open rain or shine. The Flower Fields® will remain open on rainy days as long as it is safe for visitors to walk along the pathways. Please note, some attractions, such as the Wagon Ride, musical performances or special ticketed events, may be affected or closed due to rain.

What is a Season Pass?

A Season Pass allows you to visit The Flower Fields as many times as you wish during the 2026 Season, and includes unlimited wagon rides, and no reservations required.

Where do I park and is it free?

Yes, parking is free! There are two lots available for general parking. Both lots are accessible off of Palomar Airport Road and Paseo del Norte.

Are the Flower Fields accessible to people with disabilities or mobility issues?

The Flower Fields is a working farm. Our parking and restroom facilities are accessible and in compliance with the CBC and ADA standards. The Farm is on a considerable slope with trails and dirt paths that guests may use at their own risk. We encourage you to use the Tractor Wagon Tour as the best means of viewing the farm. Should you require assistance, or have any questions, please ask a member of our staff. We are proud of our farm and committed to making your experience as accommodating as reasonably possible.

Are there Wheelchairs or strollers for rent?

Guests are required to bring their own wheelchairs and strollers as we don't have any available for rent.

What are your photography policies? Are professionals allowed?

The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch provide a breathtaking backdrop for capturing cherished moments, therefore all guests may bring personal cameras, phones and tripods for casual photography. However, all professional portrait photography sessions must be booked exclusively through The Flower Fields. Outside professional photographers are not permitted.

Can I bring a drone?

Operation or use of any drones, unmanned aircraft/flying systems, and remotely controlled flying machines, motorized or not, is strictly prohibited.

When are the best times to avoid a crowd?

The best time is during weekdays. Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days for visitation. When planning for a weekend visit be sure to purchase your tickets in advance.

When are the fields in full bloom?

The peak blooming of the ranunculus in late March through April.

When are your Sunflowers in bloom?

Although it is difficult to predict as Mother Nature plays a hand, the plan is for blooming to start the 3rd week in April and last through the end of our season in mid-May.

Do I need to make a reservation for the Wagon Tour?

Tickets can only be purchased after you arrive (pre-purchased online tickets not available at this time). Our Wagon Tour is an additional $8 for adults and $4 for children (ages 3-10), children under 3 are free. It can accommodate wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs and walkers, and runs all day, every day, weather permitting.

What is/How much is the Butterfly Encounter?

Our Butterfly Encounter is a greenhouse filled with hundreds of live butterflies. Guests are given a Q-tip with nectar to attract and feed the butterflies. The encounter is open 10:00am to 5:30pm 7 days a week throughout our season. The Encounter is $8 for adults and $4 for children (ages 3-10), children under 3 are free.

Are pets allowed?

In order to respect the rights and ensure the safety of our guests, pets or Emotional Support Animals are not permitted. The only Service Animals allowed. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

Will there be food and/or drink vendors available?

Yes, there is a great selection of food offerings ranging from coffee, ice cream, pizza, tacos and strawberry desserts! Please check our Things to Do-Attractions page to see what days they are available.
